Support Services Group is looking for Collections agents to join our team in our Kingston, Jamaica office. This candidate will aim to make a positive impact with our customers, build lasting relationships and deliver a tech-enabled financing experience that is simple, fast, and effective.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Increase the collection of outstanding payments
- Maintain daily, weekly and monthly collection and metric goals
- Outbound/Inbound calls with customers to resolve debts owed
- All communications must be handled in compliance with our collections policies and procedures
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- 1-2 years of direct experience in collections; knowledge in sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior telemarketing experience with financial products preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented
- Team Player
- Professional demeanor
